Recognition of Zero Waste Events (REZW)
What is Zero Waste Event Recognition?
It is the technical tool that allows event producers to obtain better performance in the management of their solid waste through the implementation of the Zero Waste model. This establishes the circular economy requirements that must be included in an event from its design, conception and planning, to its implementation, review or evaluation of results, as well as its subsequent activities to consider and validate it as a Zero Waste Event.
What are Zero Waste Events?
It is a technical and management tool that allows organizations to implement the 9R strategies (reject, rethink, reduce, reuse/reuse, repair, restore, remanufacture, recover and recycle) in a process of continuous improvement, taking into account life cycle analysis and risk management to increase their efficiency in the performance of the flow of materials and solid waste in the framework of the circular economy.
