Over the past decade, the Circular Economy has emerged as a vital instrument for promoting sustainability within organizations and territories worldwide. This innovative model of production, distribution, and consumption is designed to enhance system efficiency, regenerate natural capital, and eliminate waste from the design stage. The measurement of circularity is a critical component that ensures control, efficiency, management, and the achievement of proposed results within this framework. Zero Waste indicators have proven to be a practical alternative for measuring material flow. This article explores the relationship between Zero Waste indicators and the measurement of circularity. It also presents a methodology for their development and highlights key aspects for their formulation from a practical perspective.
